Why do Americans need Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine? Jacob Kedmi: Do you want war? The U.S. will have to sacrifice

Of course, there will be no Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the West knows this, Yakov Kedmi, a well-known Israeli military and political expert and former head of the secret service Nativ, is certain. In his opinion, the U.S. is preparing as nasty a provocation on Ukrainian territory as possible, which would cause huge damage to Moscow.

Why would the Americans want Russia to "invade" Ukraine?
For more than two months now, Western countries have been scaring each other about a Russian attack on Ukraine. Why Moscow would do this is not explained, nor is there any evidence that the Russians are hatching insidious plans. No wonder that even Kiev itself does not believe the scaremongering of its patrons. Washington's hysteria is increasingly hitting the Ukrainian economy.

Former intelligence chief and political analyst Yakov Kedmi is convinced that there is a reason for the West's hysteria and the U.S. leadership will not give up its policy of confrontation with Russia.

For the most part, this has to do with the unwillingness of the US to accept the end of the unipolar world era, in which Americans were the hegemon. Kedmi believes that Washington realizes that a war with Russia would lead to U.S. defeat, but continues to cling to its elusive global dominance.

A world war today could cause enormous damage to Russia, but the U.S. would cease to exist. Nothing will be able to grow on that land for another thousand years,

- SM-News agency quotes the words of the political analyst.

However, the United States will try to preserve the unipolar world, although economically America is about to be overtaken by China and politically by Russia, without which virtually no important international issue can be resolved today.

That is why the U.S. authorities are taking all sorts of steps against Moscow. According to Kedmi, the United States will continue to strangle Russia with sanctions, covering their actions with statements about "deterring the aggressor" and preventing a "war" in Ukraine.

They are very much afraid of a full-fledged military conflict with Russia. The U.S. thinks that in the future it will also be able to exert pressure without worrying about the consequences. If a war breaks out, Washington will not be able to come out of it victorious. They (Americans. - Ed.) have never been able to objectively assess their own strength,

- said an expert on the YouTube channel Solovyov LIVE.

However, sanctions are no longer that scary for Moscow. Kedmi is sure that Washington has only five or six years left to try to "break" Russia, and then all leverage over the Russians will be gone.

Yakov Kedmi noted that Russia has already taken a tricky strategic position, which has confused the U.S.. Thus, despite the hysteria around the "invasion" of Ukraine and the threat of "the toughest sanctions in history," Moscow ignores all the pokes and does not retreat from the demands for guarantees of its security previously made to the collective West.

The greatest danger is a provocation by the United States
At the same time, the Americans cannot imagine what measures Russia will take in response to Washington's refusal to fulfill the key conditions of the draft treaty on security guarantees.

Now Russia will consider whether it makes sense to continue negotiations with the U.S. on points that are not related to the main problem, and will move on to the next stage, i.e. the use of military and technical means,

- the expert thinks.

At the same time he is sure that Western countries will continue to apply pressure on Russia wherever it is possible. There can be absolutely any reasons. Kedmi reminded that even five centuries ago Western countries were planning to destroy Russia, and the USSR was under sanctions throughout its existence.

The world outside Russia will always try to "crush and stifle" it by restricting its development, but patience is running out. And if the West does not listen today to offers of security guarantees in Europe, Moscow itself "will establish the position it needs and ensure its security by military and technical methods.

Already the Russians have moved from words to deeds: unexpectedly, they have expelled US Deputy Chief of Mission in Moscow Bart Gorman in response to the Americans' longstanding diplomatic aggression. Kedmi thought this was unprecedented. It is also unprecedented that Russia has responded to the US response to the draft Security Treaty without even a jot of movement from its initial position. Moscow thus dealt a blow to the U.S. plans to drag out the negotiations and avoid conditions.

The expert added that Washington was literally chomping at the bit for such a response, imitating diplomacy and ignoring the call for a no-extension of NATO. Moscow's demands for security guarantees proved so inconvenient for the United States that they decided to play the scenario involving "long-suffering" Ukraine again.

According to Kedmi, the Americans are playing a cheap show with one goal in mind: to divert attention from the security proposals. The U.S. can go from words to provocations, the signs of preparation are already visible.

Right now, the biggest danger is not a Russian invasion, but a provocation on Ukrainian territory directed against Russia. As nasty as possible, as dirty as possible, which they do not need to prove, but which, in their opinion, can cause Russia irreparable damage in the negotiations. Because there will be no invasion. And if there isn't, then what's the point of maintaining tension for another week, two, three, a month if you don't hold a provocation?

- Kedmi stressed.

The expert noted that the Americans gave themselves away by evacuating the embassies. Consequently, a provocation could be organized in Eastern Ukraine, from where both Western diplomats and citizens of the USA and European countries were promptly evacuated.

The expert believes that the fate of Kiev will be decided during the next American-Russian security talks, and the withdrawal of American troops from the east will automatically end the "Maidan" regime in Ukraine.

Consequences of the invasion of the Kurils - will NATO ships go down?
There will be no real war, says Yakov Kedmi. According to the expert, neither Ukraine nor its patrons can afford military action against Russia.

Any outbreak of war would mean the end of this government, complete and irrevocable, within hours. They (Ukrainians. - Ed.) know this. They have no chance and their patrons have no chance,

- Kedmi said on the air of the program "Full Contact.

He also listed some of Russia's advantages: more efficient power, an economy that has already shown its resilience, and total superiority in strategic weaponry.

According to Kedmi, the American navy poses a threat to Moscow. This explains the importance of large-scale exercises of the Russian Navy.

Now there are exercises of the Russian army and navy and the Air Force all over the world. For this purpose, planes with hypersonic missiles were sent to Syria. The actions against the American 6th Fleet in Syria are being practiced,

- he pointed out.

The expert noted that 140 naval ships from the Bering Strait to the Atlantic Ocean participate in maneuvers simultaneously. Now, he said, two fleets have achieved a balance with the Americans: the Black Sea and the Northern Fleet.

"For now we still need to fine-tune in the Pacific," thinks the specialist.

Yakov Kedmi also recalled the recent provocation near the Kuril Islands, where the Northern Fleet was conducting exercises and where the newest US submarine was spotted.

According to the political scientist, the US and NATO are trying to find out how Russia's electronics are developing, but if Washington were to arrange such a provocation again, the US Navy ships could go to the bottom.

It is unlikely that they will try again to pass into the Sea of Azov and into Russian territorial waters near the Kuril Islands. It has been made clear in those areas that the next attempt will end with the sinking of the ship,

- the Narodnye Novosti portal quotes Kedkov as saying.

Yakov Kedmi suggested that the time for quiet responses to the insolent actions of the Americans has passed. The current geopolitical situation is forcing Russia to stop believing that the United States is sobering up.
